East Coast Canvas has been operating since 1998 and have been successfully providing the greater Hawke’s Bay region with a custom design service for anything from shade sails, boat covers, tent repairs to outdoor blinds and so much more. Our business focus is to provide the best quality products to our clients.
We are currently looking for someone to fill a Full-time position in our canvas and PVC goods workshop.
Role requirements:
- Sewing using industrial machines
- Welding
- Repairs
- Installing (shade sails/outdoor blinds)
To be a successful applicant you need to be:
- Able to problem solve
- Have an eye for detail
- Willingness to learn and self-motivating
- Well presented
- Great communication skills with clients and co workers
- Good with time management
Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided, so a willingness to learn will be key for this role. We also could offer the opportunity for an apprenticeship in industrial textile fabrication.
